As we finish this weeks reading we are going to learn about Theme and how to find the theme in a story so that we can do the same with the book we are about to finish.  Use the link below to learn more about themes.

Standard: 5th Grade Reading: Literature Standard 2 Determine a theme of a story, drama, or poem from details in the text, including how characters in a story or drama respond to challenges or how the speaker in a poem reflects upon a topic; summarize the text.
